Songs from the Sky – Elem. Piano Solo

Songs from the Sky is a lyrical and expressive Elementary piano solo featuring optional teacher or duet accompaniment. Its gentle melody and poetic character encourage musical expression and artistry at an early stage.

Written in F major, the piece introduces hand-position shifts and shares the melody between the hands. Students explore harmonic intervals of a 5th, 4th, and 2nd while developing musical phrasing and dynamic awareness.

Optional lyrics add an imaginative dimension and help students connect with the character of the music. Well suited for recitals, festivals, and studio performances, Songs from the Sky combines accessible technique with expressive playing.
