A respected authority on Iberian music, piano pedagogy, and music and medicine, Dr. Harper has authored more than 250 scholarly articles and books translated into six languages. Her recordings include Portuguese piano music, piano sonatas by Malcolm Dedman, and the complete solo piano music of Beryl Rubinstein.

Charlie Plante is an award-winning composer from Cedarburg, Wisconsin whose works have earned national distinction through both the National Federation of Music Clubs and the Music Teachers National Association. Recognized for his expressive range and musical depth, Plante has collaborated with ensembles across professional and academic settings, including the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Waukesha County Conservatory of Music, and university programs at UW Whitewater and UW River Falls. His music has also been featured by the Junior Composers Institute and performed by the Racine Symphony Orchestra.
