"Sequoia Gigantea" is a stunning intermediate-level piano solo that features bold, blocked perfect triads in all inversions, moving in parallel motion across the keyboard. Set in common time and the key of C, the piece showcases expressive portato (staccato notes under a slur) technique, as well as dynamic contrasts with crescendos and diminuendos.
