A first look at what’s coming.

Welcome to the INSIGHTS & Piano Study preview center — an early glimpse into a new piano method making its first public debut this March at the MTNA Chicago convention 2026.

This space is designed to share select visuals, ideas, and moments from the INSIGHTS & Piano Study method as they become available. Years in the making, this work represents the culmination of a close collaboration between Tom Gerou and Scott Price, drawing on decades of combined experience in teaching, writing, and pedagogical development. What you see here is intentional: a preview of the thinking, values, and musical direction behind a method built to support today’s students and teachers with clarity, depth, and purpose.

The INSIGHTS & Piano Study method launches with three coordinated titles in its initial release:

 

The full INSIGHTS & Piano Study method will be unveiled in Chicago, with the opportunity to explore the first release, speak directly with the creators, and experience the work in person throughout the convention. The method has already garnered exceptionally strong feedback during its trial phase, with reviewers noting its clarity, musical depth, and thoughtful progression.

Until then, this Preview Center will continue to evolve — offering an early look into a method shaped by years of refinement, collaboration, and studio testing, ahead of the official release.

If you’re attending the MTNA National Conference in Chicago (March 21–25, 2026), we invite you to visit us in the Exhibit Hall — Booths 701, 703 & 800 (4th Floor, Marriott Ballroom) — and be part of the INSIGHTS & Piano Study premiere. New releases, demonstrations, and author meet-ups will take place throughout the conference.

We’ll also be presenting a dedicated INSIGHTS Showcase on Tuesday, March 24, from 8:00–9:00 AM, in the Indiana / Iowa / Michigan / Michigan State Room. Seating is limited; early arrival is encouraged.
