Welcome to the INSIGHTS & Piano Study Preview Center — a first look at a new piano method making its public debut this March at the MTNA National Conference in Chicago (2026).
This space offers an early view into the ideas, materials, and musical thinking behind INSIGHTS & Piano Study as the method moves toward release. Years in the making, the project reflects a close collaboration between Tom Gerou and Scott Price, drawing on decades of combined experience in teaching, writing, and pedagogical development. This preview offers a clear view into the values, structure, and musical direction shaping a method designed to support today’s students and teachers with clarity, depth, and purpose.

The method will be formally unveiled in Chicago, where attendees will have the opportunity to explore the first release, speak directly with the creators, and experience the work in person throughout the conference. Trial reviewers have responded very positively, especially regarding the method’s clarity, musical depth, and pacing.
This Preview Center offers a focused look into a method shaped by years of refinement, collaboration, and studio testing.
If you’re attending the MTNA National Conference in Chicago (March 21–25, 2026), we invite you to visit us in the Exhibit Hall — Booths 701, 703 & 800 (4th Floor, Marriott Ballroom) — and be part of the INSIGHTS & Piano Study premiere. New releases, demonstrations, and author meet-ups will take place throughout the conference.
We’ll also be presenting a dedicated INSIGHTS Showcase on Tuesday, March 24, from 8:00–9:00 AM, in the Indiana / Iowa / Michigan / Michigan State Room. Seating is limited; early arrival is encouraged.
