TOM GEROU

Who We Are

With over 30 years of experience in music publishing, composer and educator Tom Gerou founded TOMGEROUMUSIC.COM® to offer imaginative, pedagogically sound music for students, teachers, and lifelong learners. Our mission remains steadfast: to raise the standard of educational music through carefully crafted publications that inspire at every stage of development.

We proudly participate in national music conventions and select workshops throughout the year — sharing our work directly with educators, performers, and the teaching community.

Tom’s career spans more than 180 published titles, many of which appear in the NFMC Bulletin, Royal Conservatory of Music syllabus, and Trinity College London exam materials. A graduate of USC and a Charles Ditson Scholar at Yale, he holds a Master of Music in composition and has served as VP of Production / Keyboard Editor-in-Chief at Alfred Music, Head of Publications at Trinity College London, and now as Chair of the National Federation of Music Clubs' Junior Composers Contest.

Today, TOMGEROUMUSIC.COM® is home to a growing collective of distinguished authors and rising voices in contemporary music. Together, we remain committed to producing materials that are not only educationally rich, but also artistically compelling — supporting musicians across instruments, levels, and stages of life.
