Heavenly Blue

A peaceful-sounding piece in D major "Heavenly Blue" is in triple meter. Hand-over-hand motion allow the student to shape each melodic gestures using broken chord patterns. Harmonic interest is achieved by half-step motion in the LH without shifting hand positions. It contains both sharps and flats and utilizes a moderately wide range of the keyboard. Easy to play but with interesting harmonies.
